Challenge
Donation services and donor data had to stay available even when production servers fail.
- No separate backup site yet
- Storage and database backups were not distributed
Solution
We designed a three-site architecture: Production (applications, donation & donor servers, database), Jakarta DC (storage, CI/CD repository, storage & database backups), and a DRC site (storage, snapshot backups, database backups), with replication flows between sites.
